FAMILY CLASS: CINCO DE MAYO - TAMALES & MORE
Saturday, May 3 - 4:00-7:00 pm
Fluffy masa and decadent fillings steamed together to create the most delicious tamales! Traditionally this is a seasonal family activity that folks of all ages participate in, to celebrate various holidays. Here at The Kitchen we wanted to create a family-friendly environment to explore it! And best of all, you don't have to clean up the mess!
Let us show you and your children how to prepare the masa batter, make sure your husks are handled and folded properly, and how to assemble tamales as part of a delicious meal! Bonus: These bad boys freeze well! So once you make a batch, you'll have an easy compact dinner that can travel!
