FOODIE'S NIGHT OUT: PERUVIAN PERFECTION
Thursday, July 23rd, 6 pm - 9 pm

Embark on a culinary journey with us to our neighbors to the south, sparking notions of adventure, vibrant color, fun and passion. In this class we are going to explore the flavors and textures of Peru - inspired by the shadow of the Andes. Working with a smoking hot grill, a fresh and zesty green sauce and oozing stuffed peppers. We will even make delectable dulce de leche for Peru's most beloved confection! Skip the plane ride and explore the flavors of Peruvian cuisine in our Kitchen!

  • Beef Lomo Soltado (stir-fried beef and onions)
  • Rocotto Relleno (cheese stuffed roasted peppers)
  • Anticuchos with Aji Verde (grilled skewers with green garlic sauce)
  • Solterito (Peruvian chopped salad)
  • Alfajores (dulce de leche cookies)

  • Best practices for grilling skewers - whether ground or cubed meat
  • A new take on rich, oozing stuffed bell peppers
  • Safely turning a simple can of condensed milk into dulce de leche

Our cooking classes are immersive hands-on experiences. You are welcome to do as much or as little as you want in class!
  • You will be greeted with a welcome beverage and snacks will be provided.
  • Classes culminate in a family style meal around our barn wood tables towards the end of class.
  • You’ll have access to a packet of recipes from the class so you can repeat them at home.
