Overview

WHISKEY & BARBEQUE
Saturday, June 20th, 5 pm - 8 pm

Fire up the grill and raise a glass—this summer evening brings together slow-smoked barbecue and the world of whiskey for a class centered around live-fire cooking, guided tasting, and relaxed summer hospitality. Held the night before Father’s Day, this class is a perfect way to celebrate the dads, grill masters, whiskey lovers, and fire-tending food enthusiasts in your life—or simply treat yourself to a memorable summer night out.

This evening will be a more relaxed, walk-about style demonstration event rather than a formal hands-on cooking class. Guests are welcome to wander between the grills, wood fired oven, and kitchen spaces as the chefs cook throughout the evening, spending time watching techniques up close, asking questions, and learning along the way. If you’d like to jump in and apron up, we’d love to have you cook alongside us—but if your ideal evening is simply sipping whiskey, snacking on barbecue, and enjoying a summer night on the farm, that’s welcome too.

Throughout the evening, we’ll explore the techniques and flavors behind great barbecue while our guest Master of Whiskey, Scott Dunfee leads us through thoughtfully selected pours designed to educate you on the complexity of whiskey. You’ll learn how smoke, spice, fat, sweetness, and char interact both on the plate and in the glass.
