FOODIE'S NIGHT OUT: FLAVORS OF HAWAII
Thursday, August 27th, 6 pm - 9 pm

Aloha! Escape to the islands without leaving Oregon as we explore the vibrant, multicultural flavors that make Hawaiian cuisine so unforgettable. Influenced by Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Filipino, Portuguese, and native Hawaiian traditions, these beloved dishes are full of bold flavors, comforting textures, and plenty of opportunities to add them to your own dinner rotation.

We'll prepare tender Korean-style kalbi beef, savory garlic noodles full of garden vegetables, and the iconic island snack of Spam musubi. You'll learn to make fresh variations of ahi poke with bright, zesty flavors and discover just how versatile homemade wonton dumplings can be for appetizers or entertaining. To finish, we'll bake buttery, chewy butter mochi—a uniquely Hawaiian dessert made with sweet rice flour that's guaranteed to become a new favorite - especially with grilled pinapple!

Whether you're dreaming of your next Hawaiian vacation or simply looking to expand your weeknight recipe collection, this fun class will leave you eady to bring a taste of the islands into your own kitchen.
