BACK TO BASICS: COOKING FUNDAMENTALS
Tuesday, May 20 - 6:00-9:00 pm
This is the must attend class for every person who wants to create a great meal, every meal!
You’ll learn how to enhance everyday ingredients to create a delicious meal from pantry staples. We’ll practice the basics of the broil, pan-fry, sauté, grill, steam and roast. We’ll teach you why we blanch some vegetables and why others are better roasted. You’ll learn why we sear some meats and sometimes finish cooking in the oven.
This is the cornerstone class that teaches you truly how to cook.

Our cooking classes are immersive hands-on experiences. You are welcome to do as much or as little as you want in class!
- You will be greeted with a welcome beverage and snacks will be provided.
- Classes culminate in a family style meal around our barn wood tables towards the end of class.
- You’ll have access to a packet of recipes from the class so you can repeat them at home.
